We are getting pretty excited as we are about to go on our first trip to the south island of New Zealand. We have been to the north island a couple of times but never made it to the south which we have been told is absolutely beautiful. The last vacation we took wasn’t exactly perfect.  We didn’t do our research well enough, and we ended up with a place that didn’t really fit our needs.  This time around, we’re doing this differently, and we are methodically combing through all of the Mt Maunganui Holiday Homes that are available during our time frame.  We need several bedrooms and bathrooms, and we need to make sure we have adequate parking for our family reunion.   It seems there are several options that might work.  We will do a bit more research, and then make our decision and enjoy a fantastic vacation!
