Accessible Bra Size Chart for Women
September 1st, 2010 . by adminEight out of ten women put on a bra which isn’t perfectly suited to them. This may well lead to distress or insufficient support. A bra size chart is a perfect guide to determining the proper bra sizes. The normal US bra size is made up of two parts: a numerical value denoting the length on the back band, and a letter indicating cup size. Two values are required to get the proper bra size: the bust measurement, taken by measuring loosely around the fullest part of the bust, and also the back band length. To find the proper length on the back band, use a tape measure to measure under the bust. For measurements ranging from 25-34, add 5 to odd numbers and 4 to even numbers to have the proper value. Measurements from 35-37 correspond to a 40 back band, 37-39 correspond to a 42 back band, and 40-42 correspond to a 44 back band. Subtract this band measurement from the bust size measurement. A 0-1.5 difference is equivalent to an A cup size. The cup size raises for each and every increment of one. US normal cup sizes are as follows: A, B, C, D, DD/E, F, and G. A bra size chart presents all this information in table form for effortless reference.
