It is always recommended that you have a security passcode on your personal computer. This is basically to prevent access of information or data that can lead to unrest in a company or an organization. This being my 4th year as a practicing accountant in my company, part of my job description is to create our employees payroll report. Due to the complexity of the job. I had to acquire a laptop that would help me go about my role efficiently. I recal when i forgot my laptop password windows 7 installed operating system, my payroll report had not been concluded and the HR was expecting me to submit it sooner rather than later. I had to access the pc through ‘safe mode’ because windows7 is hard to crack, luckily, the payroll excel sheet report was saved under ‘my documents’ and this made it easy for me to access it.
