My high school counselor always told me that the medical field would be an excellent choice for a career. She told me that it was a field that would never be obsolete as long as there were people who needed to be taken care of. After doing my own research, I found out that job growth for dental assistants has never been better. Since this is the field that I wanted to go into, this information just solidified my choice. I have now been in the field for ten years and could not be happier. I owe my counselor a big hug for steering me in the right direction.
