He is thirteen years old and I always tease him that he acts as if he were thirty. He does not like the same things as a lot of the other kids his age do and he has a style that is all his own. He is into hard rock music from the eighties and he loves extreme sports. He likes to wear a lot of rock tee shirts and of course, his DC Shoes. I am proud that he is not afraid to express himself and that he does not follow the crowd. I love the fact that he knows who he is and that he is comfortable in his own skin.
