Not long ago my grandson called to thank me for the new movie I’d sent him for his birthday.  In the same sentence he mentioned that the family DVD player was broken, but he wouldn’t have any problems enjoying the movie.  When I asked how he planned to do that, he casually mentioned he would use his Wii.  He explained that his Dad had bought unlock wii software and they could now use their Wii to play DVDs, MP3s, and more games than he could ever download, many of them free.  I told him that sounded like a very smart thing to have bought, but wasn’t surprised.  After all, genius runs in the family.
